Unfortunate incompatibility between sound-juicer and rhythmbox in
sarge

In sarge, sound-juicer cannot encode to MP3, but rhythmbox can only play
MP3 (it fails with ogg, flac or WAV files, the formats supported by
sound-juicer).
There isn't an obvious place to file a bug about this (indeed, it's not
even really a bug from a package point of view, except that sound-juicer
can be run by a menu item in rhythmbox).
I'm currently using up-to-date versions of the two programs built from
source to get around these problems, but it would be nice to fix this
somehow before sarge goes out. Of course, if the gstreamer0.8 plugins get
into sarge, so will newer versions of rhythmbox and sound-juicer, I guess,
and the problem is solved.
Anyway, sorry if this is just noise, but it seemed this might be a
situation that no-one was aware of, given the split maintainership of
sound-juicer and rhythmbox.
