I don't remember. I would say since June but it could be May or the
beginning of July. I was too busy to really think about it at this time.

xine-ui doesn't have this problem.=20
After a reboot, I can play videos with mplayer or xine-ui without
problems. The blue screen appears only the first time I start totem.

Nvidia Geforce4 MX with latest drivers on Sid
Nvidia Geforce2 MX with older drivers on Sarge

Yes. I've tried a lot of different formats (mkv with RV9, avi with divx,
Mpeg). Even playing a music file (ogg/mp3) with the visualization (goom)
send me the blue screen the first time.
