Salut,

in order to get a completly "clean" desktop (no icons expect 
self-created), i throw out all nautilus-desktop-icons through 
gconf(-editor) with the adequate key 
(/apps/nautilus/desktop/[...]_visible). 
All keys worked for me, except this one: 
/apps/nautlius/desktop/volumes_visible

Whatever i choose here (true/false), these icons of mounted media on the 
desktop remain.

Any idea about that?
