Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.6.10-2
Severity: important

Rhythmbox in sarge can't import ogg files. When I try I get an error
saying the ogg files have type "application/octet-stream" and that
rhythmbox (reasonably enough) doesn't know how to play files of that
type.

This is an important bug because Debian doesn't ship mp3 encoders
(except in non-free). In particular, there's no gstreamer mp3 encoder,
which means that rhythmbox's companion encoder, sound-juicer, can only
encode oggs. This means that if you click "import CD" in rhythmbox,
you're taken to sound juicer, you rip a CD to oggs, go back to
rhythmbox to import it, and find it can't...not good.
