I can change font and color scheme by editing profile. When running
under Gnome desktop default configuration of Debian package, these edits
are lost when I restart. (Also applets that I add to the lower menu bar
are lost on restart.) But if I run Gnome terminal under the KDE desktop
my edits to the gnome terminal profile are not lost on restart.
This is surely not a gnome terminal problem. But I lack the knowledge of
gnome internals that would allow me to make a guess as to where in gnome
the problem is located, so I'm hoping gnome-terminal maintainer can
forward this to the maintainer of that other place in gnome.
