Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.2.1-6
Severity: normal

Hi. During resizes of the Galeon 2 main window, it does not seem to
report valid sizes to the window manager. The bug against "galeon"
package was closed by the maintainer, on the basis of his suspicion it
was a bug on GTK or the window manager.

The window manager, Fvwm, has been the gold standard of window
management protocol subtleties for about a decade, and the protocol
involved in window resizes is not new. So my first suspicion is that
Galeon or GTK is more likely at fault than Fvwm.

Hi,

As no answers from the submitters of #197078 and #205730 were received
(or from other people with the same problem) and we cannot reproduce the
reported bugs here, i'm closing both of them with this mail.

If these bugs still exist in Gtk+2.4, it would be nice if someone would
reopen them with more information for the developers.

Marc
