Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.0.5-2
Severity: normal

Some of us are using gtk2 applications with gtk1 applications. we want
our gtk1 applications to have anti-aliasing. As we can do it all in a
script (dont have to use the gdkxft's gdm session to do it) there's no
reason why libgtk2 should conflict with libgdkxft. Yes, gtk2
applications wont work if libgdkxft is LD_PRELOAD'd, but isn't that
for a user to decide what he wants to do? instead of enforcing via
conflicts.

Hi,

As there is no libgdkxft available in testing and unstable, this bug is
pointless and can be closed.
