Rhythmbox does not shuffle through even a significant fraction of my
music. it repeatedly plays the same 10 songs or so when there are 1500
in my playlist. if I search for some songs that don't contain any of
these 10, it stops playing. If I turn off shuffle, everything is okay. I
think it has something to do with the ratings. most of my songs are
rated as 0, but I've never adjusted any of this. There doesn't seem to
be anyway to control what rhythmbox does with the rating.
