After my GTK+ packages were upgraded from version 2.4.1 to 2.4.2, I've
been noticing problems with the proper rendering of some graphics
within buttons. I've noticed it in two specific instances, although
there must be others too:
1. I use XFCE4, and after the upgrade, the icons in the buttons on the
XFCE panel are all cropped on the sides by a few pixels. Using the
xfce-curve theme, I can see the icons without cropping, but all other
themes lead to cropping of icons by different amounts. With the earlier
GTK+, the button contents rendered properly for all themes.
2. I use the Modem Lights applet in my GNOME Panel. Here too, the circle
on the connect/disconnect icon is cropped on the left and right sides.
Of course, XFCE and GNOME aren't related, but they both rely on the GTK+
libraries, so this must be a problem with the new version...
regards
MT
