/usr/share/application-registry/gnome-vfs.applications says

	command=3Dgvim
	name=3Dgvim -c ":cd %:p:h"

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the other way around. :) That is:

	command=3Dgvim -c ":cd %:p:h"
	name=3Dgvim
