Package: evolution
Version: 1.4.6-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
I just upgraded my unstable, and when I start up Evolution now, I get an
error box with the following text:
Cannot activate component OAFIID:
GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent :
The error from the activation system is:
Unknown CORBA exception id: 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/
INV_OBJREF:1.0'
I get that four times, then Evolution starts up with only my local
folders. That's right, no VFolders, no IMAP connection, nothing else.
The console messages are as follows:
** (evolution-1.4:20353): WARNING **: TESTME: Fall-back activate
(evolution-1.4:20353): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_set_valist:
construct property "type" for object `ESplash' can't be set after
construction
** (evolution-1.4:20353): WARNING **: TESTME: Fall-back activate
That last line is repeated once for every error box.
