Personally I find that simply copying Apple's behaviour because Apple
did it a little strange.  When I drag a file to the trash it gets
deleted.  When I drag a folder to the trash it gets deleted.  Why would
dragging a removable media icon (not a fixed media icon) to the trash
umount it, instead of deleting (i.e. formatting) it?
