Bug#238792: sound-juicer: spins on startup

When run, either from the command line sound-juicer prints the
following messages, and then spins:

No windows are opened; no obvious attempts to access the CD-ROM are
made.  Behaviour is similar when started from rhythmbox's menu except
that the messages are not seen as there is no tty.

I am running this on an iBook2, and /proc/ide/hdb/model says "MATSHITA
CR-177".

I'm reporting this as 'important' rather than 'grave' as I'm assuming
that it must be some hardware compatibility problem or there would
already be existing bugreports of this problem.  Feel free to upgrade
the severity if appropriate.
