Same here.

Nautilus goes up to 100% CPU when opening any folder.
Respawns if killed.
Dies if killed quickly (before it does... what?)

Same if invoked from command line.

Very same message:
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice
repeated over and over.

When invoked from a KDE session, exhibits same symptoms but dies if
killed, without respawning.

Works correctly for a freshly created user.

Kernel is from Knoppix while distro is current Sarge.
