Bug#249999: libgtk2.0-0: abiword fails to highlight text with gtk 2.4

OK, This is a KDE bug:

If, in the KDE desktop, I go to

  Control Panel -> Appearance and Themes -> Colours

and uncheck "Apply colours to non-KDE applications", then text
highlighting works fine in Abiword. If I set that checkbox again, then
text highlighting stops working.

I've tried several of the colour themes in KDE and the same seems to
happen with all of them, including "KDE Default".

So I guess this bug should shift to the KDE guys.
