After a filed a bug report I noticed that I gstreamer0.8-alsa was not =20
installed. Strangely enough rhythmbox did not depend on it. After I install=
ed =20
gstreamer0.8-alsa and changed gconf settings accordingly (set both default =
and =20
0.8/default audiosink to alsasink) rhythmbox still skipped mp3 on high cpu =
load. Yet after recent upgrade to new rhythmbox (version 0.8.4-4 ) the =20
skipping is practically gone (opening brand new openoffice.org instance mak=
es =20
playing stop twice) and as I see rhythmbox now depends on gstreamer0.8-alsa=
. I =20
have experienced problems with rhythmbox from pkg-gnome.alioth.debian.org, =
and =20
I run Debian Sid with gnome 2.6 from experimental. So it looks like this is=
transition bug, nothing major.

PS thanks for querying about this bug, now I know that rhythmbox is fine ag=
ain =20
on my machine:)
