Package: gconf2
Version: 2.6.1-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

Since 2.6 entered unstable the gnome settings daemon fails to start at
the start of my session on two systems. I've tried downgrading xlibs as
suggested in a bug follow-up which didn't help, and since then there has
been another X upgrade which also didn't help.

Is there anythig I can do to help figure out what's happening here?

Cheers,
Eamonn
