Package: balsa
Version: 2.0.16-1
Severity: important

Note: This behavior is a new bug that did not exist in 2.0.15-1

I use the Balsa option to display mailbox names in tabs.

When I close one of these tabs in Balsa 2.0.16, it sometimes causes
Balsa to hang and have to be killed.

I have run Balsa under Valgrind, and I believe I have spotted the
error that causes this misbehavior, but it will take someone more
familiar with the code than I am to produce a solution. I will
forward the Valgrind stacktrace as a separate response to this bug.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for filing your original bug reports against Balsa. As you may or
may not know, Balsa 2.2.5 has now progressed into testing which rewrote
a lot of the code that used to cause stability, IMAP and GtkHTML
rendering problems in the 2.0 branch. Subsequently any debugging
information you provided is unfortunately useless now so I've decided to
close your report as I haven't been able to reproduce them under 2.2.x.

If your problem still remains, feel free to either reopen your reports
or file a new report with updated debugging information.

Yours sincerely,
Andrew "Netsnipe" Lau
