Bug#279729: dictionary: IPA is incorrectly displayed in pronunciation key

Take, for example, the word 'Gneiss'.  The correct pronunciation key
would be 'nis', with a hat on the i (i macron, unicode 012B).  Instead
this is displayed as (<it>ni</it>mac<it>s</it>).
