reinstall to get this working.

There is no more glib-config with glib2. It was removed years ago:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/glib/NEWS?r1=1.34&r2=1.35

libglib-2.0-dev includes usr/lib/pkgconfig/glib-2.0.pc for use with
pkg-config instead.

No glib2 using package should refer to glib-config in any way. Only code
needing glib1 should refer to glib-config.
