Bug#246596: libgtk2.0-0: cannot see hidden files

This is quite a showstopper.  Using Evolution I cannot even attach my 
kernel config to report a problem, because there is no way to make the 
file selector see a file called .config.  How could this have been
overlooked?  It renders a good number of the files on your system
INACCESSIBLE.
