Package: gnome-games
Version: 1:2.8.1-2
Severity: normal
In GNOME Mahjongg 2.8.1 that just entered unstable, when you change
the tile set theme from the default (postmodern.svg) to smooth.png,
the application hangs. In fact, not only the application, but major
parts of the GNOME system seems to be affected. It is neither possible
to switch to other applications or workspaces, nor to use gnome-panel.
If you change to another virtual console, it is possible to kill the
mahjongg process. This renders the desktop usable again. However, if
mahjongg is restarted from gnome-panel, the application does not
start, and gnome-panel hangs. If gnome-panel is killed, it is not
possible to restart it (e.g. from a terminal window).
Maybe this is an indication of a more serious bug in some GNOME
system, but mahjongg is where I have noticed it.
