I'm really sorry, i missed this patch.
When i took over this package, your bugreport was flooded by a so great
amount of bugs.
Because many things have changed this patch cannot be applied anymore,
could you fix it to apply on 2.8 version in unstable please ? (so that
it can be added in Sarge release).
