 Ok, could you launch a gpdf, freeze it (cut your connection), and run:
 "lsof | grep 'gpdf.*Shared'"?  That would show which files gpdf is
 trying to access that aren't available.

 (At least, we know you have a different bug than I did.)

 Yes, we have to find out why it is attempting to access your share
 which seems to have nothing to do with gpdf data.
