 Ah, interesting, not here though.  Would you please try:
    gst-launch-0.8 gnomevfssrc \
    location=senorcoconut_tour-de-france_320x180_large.mov ! \
    spider ! volume ! audioscale ! audioconvert ! $(gconftool-2 -g \
    /system/gstreamer/0.8/default/audiosink)
 and see if the gstreamer backend of rhythmbox segfaults in the same
 manner?

 I've downloaded the file you mentionned, and I could not make it
 segfault with gstreamer or rhythmbox directly.  (Please note that the
 audio stream of your file is not supported by gstreamer because they
 lack a codec for QDM2 -- audio/x-qdm2.)
