Thanks for your report. I've got MP3s with ID3 version 2.2.0 tag (as
reported by "file"), and they play fine with current versions of
Rhythmbox + gstreamer. Does this still happen for you?
If it does, could you please try:
gst-launch-0.8 gnomevfssrc location=/path/to/my/musicfile.mp3 ! \
spider ! volume ! audioscale ! audioconvert ! $(gconftool-2 -g \
/system/gstreamer/0.8/default/audiosink)
and see if that happens with gstreamer?
