Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.8.4-3
Severity: normal
I get this message in my .xsession-errors file :
Error on option --sm-config-prefix: unknown option.
Run 'rhythmbox --help' to see a full list of available command line
options.
Could not initialize GStreamer !
The thing is that rhythmbox has been saved by the gnome (2.6) session
management and therefore is tryed to be launched with this option...
unfortunately, since it doesn't support it, it just doesn't start on a
new session.
Note that it worked perfectly before i upgraded to 0.8.4, though I don't
know exactly which version I had before...
Could it be related to the fact that it was in experimental before, thus
compiled against gnome 2.6 libs ?

I think this is somehow fixed, I don't get any error with
--sm-config-prefix /tmp, and the bug has been closed by Sebastien
Bacher upstream:
<http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D143910>
I'm closing these bugs. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce.
