Hi,
README.Debian suggets changing the output audiosink under
system/gstreamer/default, but since gstreamer is compiled against
gstreamer 0.8 you actually need to change system/gstreamer/0.8/default.
Trivial, but easy to miss if you haven't looked at any of this stuff
before (like me :)
