I have this problem as well, and I honestly don't think it should have
been downgraded from the "important" severity. For those of us using
dual head with xinerama, this practically makes the setup useless for
us. It's a regression as well, though I'm not really sure when it
started. 

Please, please look into this, not just pretend it's not a problem
because you (presumably) is not using dual head. *begging*
