I'm on Debian /experimental/ (upgrading every night), but I don't have
this problem. Some information from the 'reportbug' tool (I cut the

As you can see, there're no extensions (suffixes) at all, but .ps and
.pdf documents are opened with no problem via GGV and GPdf.

So, I guess the problem is somewhere else.
