Bug#278780: balsa: attachment shown as text/plain in composer but sent and stored as application/octet-stream

When composing a mail I attached a file fein-sein.mtx which was 
shown with this name and type text/plain in the composer window, 
but it was received as application/octet-stream. In my sentbox 
it is shown as application/octet-stream. So the type was changed
after sending the mail from composer.

I retried this using the changed filename fein-sein.mtx.txt with
the same result.

(This is a problem because many mailing lists drop or reject 
attachments except text/plain for security reasons.)
