Can you run gossip as follows:
$ LM_DEBUG=NET gossip
And add a contact which uses "PGP advertising". This will result in a
log of the network traffic, and hopefully an error from gossip before it
crashes. Please check this file doesn't contain anything private
(specifically your Jabber password!) and attach it to this bug.
