Argh hmm ok :) File attached.

I am reticent to try 2.10 straight-off, I will try building a virtual
machine to try it in (want to stick with stable as much as possible for
now). I'll report back as soon as I've done that

I took a look at the patch in that bug, it won't apply cleanly to
gnomevfs2 in stable at present; looks like some of it has been applied
already (roughly half the changes are already made). I don't understand
the rest of it enough to know what the behaviour does yet.
