Bug#324175: Wishlist: Ability to have drawers behave more like menus

Whilst drawers are nifty, if you have several items in a drawer, unless
you can find unique icons that make sense for all of them, you have to
hover over each one to know what it is.

Giving drawers the ability to look like menus (Ie. description to side)
would be a nifty feature to have for those times you don't want to put
stuff in the applications menu.
