Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.6.9-1
Severity: wishlist

When compiled against xfixes gtk+ can much more efficiently handle
clipboard selection changes and support clipboard owner-changes to
applications using it. See gdk_display_supports_selection_notification
and friends.

I compiled my own version of gtj+-2.6.9 by installing libxfixes-dev and
setting export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig before running
configure. (Note that the xfixes.pc files installed by libxfixes-dev is
otherwise not found by pkg-config since it is installed in a
non-standard location according to pkg-config as
/usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig/xfixes.pc)
