In the spirit of the DFSG and related philosophy, it would be nice if
Glade would allow creation of the output files (the "source") from the
.glade file from the command line.

One can argue that "building" these files from within glade should only
be necessary on the developer end, as with the generation of
./configure.  So, maybe the src/*.c files should still be included in
projects; but I'd like to see Glade have the ability to regenerate these
files with some command line option .. glade-2 --build ./project.glade.
