Bug#288713: nautilus: Creating New files from desktop seems wrong

Hi, 

Rigth mouse clicking on desktop, gives to me the possibility to create
an "Empty file". Once created, the icon of the new file appear on the
desktop, but I am not able to use it in any way!!

If I click on it, the menu tells to me that I can choose an application
to open it: I choose (for example) Emacs, but I get this error:

"It is not possible to add the application to application database"

The only possibility for that file is to erase it.
