Package: libglade2-dev
Version: 1:2.4.1-1
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***
I have the same problem with libglade2 and synaptic
like Michael Bode.
I found that not only synaptic is affected, but
also the original kernel package from kernel.org together
with libglade2-dev.
I attach the output of stderr during
make gconfig:

after downgrading with
dpkg -i libglade2-0_2.4.0-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i libglade2-dev_2.4.0-1_i386.deb
make gconfig
compiles fine
