Bug#277779: gnome-terminal: This bug seems to be fixed

Even after upgrading to 2.8.2, the described bug remained.

But, when I've changed the environnement language (chosen by gdm),
switching from fr_FR.UTF-8@euro to fr_FR@euro (or even only fr_FR), it
appeared to resolve the bug.

So it looks like a problem linked to the locale.

I hope that this hint will help to close this bug,
