Bug#291058: gnome-panel: run application: gnome-terminal hardcoded (please use x-terminal-emulator)

The 'run application' panel applet fails for me when I click 'run in
terminal'. I do not have gnome-terminal installed, but I certainly do 
have something providing x-terminal-emulator.

gnome-panel currently Suggests: gnome-terminal | x-terminal-emulator

Once I get my net access at home sorted out, I'll report on whether or
not the patch attached to 80219 is applicable to the sources in testing
now.
