Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.6.1-4
Severity: normal
If I attempt to bring up any properties dialog box by right clicking on
a panel or on any applet on a panel and selecting "Properties" on the
secondary head of my display the panels crash and automatically restart
themselves.
The same operation on the primary head works correctly. I do not have
Xinerama enabled so I have two separate desktops.
I see errors of the form
The program 'gnome-panel' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 4841 error_code 8 request_code 62 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported
asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after
causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command
line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error()
function.)
