Package: nautilus
Version: 2.6.3b-4
Severity: important

I'm having problems connecting to my server via nautilus sftp/ftp. When
I put my public ssh key on the servers auth_keys file everything works
fine and I get access to the remote machine via nautilus. When there is
no such key I can't get access. Nautilus does not ask for a password (I
have gnome-key-ring installed and running). When I start nautilus in the
console I get this warning:

** (nautilus:10107): WARNING **: in nautilus-applicable-views.c, got
unhandled GnomeVFSResult 6 (I/O-fout). If this is a legitimate
get_file_info result, please tell sullivan@eazel.com so he can write a
decent user-level error message for it.

After which nautilus shows an error dialog that the location is not
viewable.

When trying ftp nautilus also does not ask for a password. Instead it
says: login attempt failed (translated from dutch). The console outputs
here: (nautilus:10107): gnome-vfs-modules-WARNING **: FTP server said:
"530 Login incorrect."

What I'm doing is 'nautilus ftp://webmaster@ftp.icecrew.nl' (normal login
with ftp command works fine) or nautilus sftp://webmaster@ftp.icecrew.nl. webmaster has ssh access to the machine and via the sftp command I can get access to the machine.

The ftp issue seems solved now. I get asked about the password to use
and I get even get access!

sftp still doesn't work though. I'll file a new bug against gnome-vfs.
