Package: Nautilus
Version: 2.4.1-3

If you try to rename (context menu or F2) a file in Nautilus the
filename is marked. On pressing the left arrow key the cursor jumps to
the end of the formerly marked filename. On pressing the right arrow key
the cursor jumps to the beginning of the marked formerly filename.

I expected exactly the opposite behaviour. Pressing the left arrow key
should bring me to the beginning (to the left), pressing the right arrow
key should bring me to the end (to the right) of the filename.

Kernel is:
Linux gorgias 2.6.0-test11 #3 Mon Jan 5 00:33:19 CET 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

But also happens with a 2.4.22.

Libc6 is:
2.3.2.ds1-10

        Hi,

This is a followup for Debian bug <http://bugs.debian.org/226475>.

Upstream recently said this is fixed in the 2.8 series of nautilus, and
I'm hence closing the bug. If you still get the bug, please reopen it
 (or mail me).
