I know that many ppl have not been acustom to the textual abbuse displayed
by some operating systems. I understand how tempting it might have been to
included such a codepath in nautilus.
I inserted a USB ram stick and gnome-volume-manage got the name wrong.
"/media/Debian040Inst" instead of "/media/Debian Inst", this caused me to be
presented with a most disterbing flame.
(-) Coulden't find "/media/Debian040Inst".
Please check the spelling and try again.
[OK]
This should not happen on any respectfull OS. The error msg is clearly out
of bounds, as I didn't type any thing so how can I change my spelling. The
real fix is to remove the Dialog as it's been proven time and time again that
these devices are NOT HELPFULL.
In place STRERR should be the place to present the user with these kinds of
things. Gnome should provide a means for ~/.xsession-errors to be loged to
the screen. This log could be opend by nautilus and told to auto close after 3
seconds.

Hi,
This was a gnome-volume-manager bug and has been fixed, I'm closing this
bug.

I'm not sure that's a good idea but this is a different issue.
Cheers,
