Package: nautilus
Version: 2.4.1-3
Severity: normal
I have the following file systems mounted:
/dev/sda3 on / type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
/dev/sda4 on /diska type ext2 (rw)
/dev/hdd1 on /diskb type ext2 (rw)
none on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw,devuid=0,devgid=107,devmode=0660)
dione:(pid419) on /amd.staging type nfs (intr,rw,port=1023,timeo=8,retrans=110,indirect,map=amd.staging)
dione:(pid419) on /home type nfs (intr,rw,port=1023,timeo=8,retrans=110,indirect,map=amd.home)
With two nautilus windows open, if I drag a file from /home/alexis/...
(amd symlink'd dir appearing as NFS fs) to /amd.staging/... (also
amd symlink'd dir appearing as NFS fs) then there is no combination
of shift/ctrl/alt that allows me to move the file (or not without
prompting anyway).
I'm using AMD, but I suspect that this is probably reproducible if
moving files between two temporary NFS mounts. Actually, a single NFS
mount and a local directory is sufficient (just verified). Pressing
ALT, or SHIFT, or CTRL or any combination presents only the pointer
indicating symlink'ing, prompting or copying. Sure, I can do a prompt
and choose 'move' from the list, but surely this is wrong behaviour.
Let me know if you need more info.
Alexis
