Bug#318985: devhelp: emacs devhelp-word-at-point clobbers global "w"

The devhelp-word-at-point function clobbers the global binding of the
"w" variable.  I don't suppose that's likely to be holding anything
important, but changing it seems like a bad idea.

(I expect "(current-word)" could go directly into the
start-process-shell-command call.)
