Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.4.2-6
Severity: wishlist
Note: not sure this is the proper package. It's difficult to track
GNOME elements to packages, which itself is something of a meta bug.
The GNOME command-line panel/taskbar applet has a large cursor which
blinks regardless of focus. For this behavior should be toggleable
and/or disabled. It's highly distracting.
Possible settings:
- Cursor on.
- Cursor off.
- Cursor on focus only.

Hello,
This bug is now fixed. The blinking cursor is only enabled when the
panel has the focus (like cursors in terminals)
Thanks for your report,
