Bug#312892: Works now (but downgrade didn't work previously)

After writing the bug report, I tried downgrading to "stable" and wasn't
able to. I also found that the gnome-core package had also gone missing
from my list of installed packages, and could not be loaded because of the
dependency on gnome-panel. To say the least I found this quite weird.

However, as of this afternoon, *something* in the chain of dependencies has
been fixed and I've re-installed both gnome-core and gnome-panel from the
unstable branch.

Note to other users: you can start gnome-panel manually by running
/usr/bin/gnome-panel. This might be necessary if, like me, you've fiddled
with gnome-session-save in an attempt to see if a corrupt config file was
the problem.
