Bug#311620: Acknowledgement (clock-applet: localized japanese time/date format is bizarre)

Update:  I noticed that this bug seems to be fixed now -- but I have no
idea why!  The clock started showing the more correct time/date format a
few days after I reported the bug; however although I update everyday,
neither any gnome packages nor libc/locales seemed to have been updated
recently.
