Hi,

exactly the same behavior, I tried:
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ ./calendar
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ LC_ALL=3Dfr_FR ./calendar
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ LC_TIME=3Dfr_FR ./calendar
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ LANG=3Dfr_FR ./calendar
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ LC_ALL=3Dde_DE ./calendar
ericl@lavardex:~/tmp/calendar$ echo $LANG
en_IE.UTF-8
("env | grep LC" returns nothing)
The names of the days follow the language, but the week always starts wit=
h
Sunday.
I also grep'ed -i the files listed in the variable GTK2_RC_FILES for
'lang' and 'lc'. Nothing...

I'm open to any further suggestion,
Eric
